Member of the Professional Union of Artists
Studied at the Moscow Institute of Restoration Art, MGPU, and other educational institutions.
Academic degree: Candidate of Philosophical Sciences

Laureate of the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University "LomonosovArt 2011" award, granted for intellectual achievements in contemporary art.

Participant in numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad, including venues such as the Central House of Artists, Winzavod, the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia, the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Art, Gostiny Dvor, the Central Manege, the Zverev Center for Contemporary Art, and others.

To evoke such emotions that have no correspondence in the everyday life experience of a person – this, according to Denis Pyanov, is the true task of art.
The results of this endeavor are all the more interesting because the artist’s arsenal includes a wide variety of genres: abstraction, nude, landscape, still life.
To a large extent, Denis Pyanov’s works are the fruits of many years of the author’s research into the abstract nature of aesthetic experience through the means of art. Hence – special attention to the problem of forming the artistic image and the formal aspect of the work. 
Denis Pyanov is a specialist in semiotics and psychology of art, and an active figure in the restoration of a unified cultural and informational space of Russia.
