An architect by education, but an artist by creation. I began my artistic journey more than 10 years ago by accident, as art therapy for myself. However, for a while, I had a contract with an art manager for 1 year that gave me access to the professional art world.
I moved to Saint Petersburg in 2014, and here my art became deeper and more philosophical. I received art therapy education, which helped me use the power of color combinations not only intuitively. But still, sensation and the first impulse in the painting process are very important to me.
My artworks are in private collections in many countries, and people call them poetry in paints.
The main theme I explore in my art is transformation and the connection between the mind and soul, the way of harmonizing them using color, and daily contemplative feelings. A deep connection with the subconscious and an intuitive way of creation is my main inspiration. For me, it is a spiritual path, and as long as I am changing, my art is always different but remains in an abstract style.
My art process is very deeply intuitive and spontaneous, full of expression. But my architectural education helps me build composition on the canvas. I use only square canvases because this shape represents harmony and stability. I use acrylic paints, multilayered techniques, and different textures to make my paintings tangible. This helps to make the paintings feel “alive” and synesthetic, full of movement, dynamics, and color.
My paintings are about life, full of brightness, joy, and individuality.
On my artistic path, there are many researches and experiments. I believe that art can be healing and that color can change our mood.
