Olga Bogoyavlenskaya was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, where she has always had a passion for drawing. She has been attending art studios since childhood and has also studied religious art. In 2016, she began painting primarily with oil paints.
The focus of Olga's education, as a Master of Geology at Lomonosov Moscow State University, gave her the opportunity to participate in unique expeditions to remote regions of Russia, such as the Kara and Barents Seas, the Franz Josef Land archipelago, and the Ural Mountains. These experiences inspired Olga to develop her own unique style of landscape painting, which she continues to pursue today. Since 2021, Olga has dedicated herself to painting full-time. While continuing to travel and draw inspiration from nature, she creates a series of paintings titled "My Earth." These works reflect her love for the natural beauty of Russia. The artist creates oil paintings using a unique technique that involves simplified shapes and bold colors. This approach gives some of her works a sense of abstraction and even figuration.
Olga has been a member of the International Union of Animal Artists since 2022 and a member of the Union of Russian Artists since 2024.
