Katerina was born in Karaganda (Kazakhstan). From 1996 to 1999, she studied in the professional art department at Karaganda State University. In 2007, she graduated from the I.E. Repin St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. Since 1999, she has lived and worked in St. Petersburg. She is a participant in Russian and international exhibitions, biennials, and fairs. She is a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. Her works are held in private collections in Russia, the USA, Europe, and Asia. They are also part of museum collections: Dafen Art Museum (Shenzhen, China) and the New Museum of Aslan Chekhoev (St. Petersburg).
