Ksenia Eliseeva is a contemporary Russian artist who lives and works in St. Petersburg (Russia).
She creates complex works using her own technique with textured pastes and epoxy resin. She is one of the few artists worldwide who develops an institutional message through this technique.
The central theme of her work is the internal psychological state of a person during the process of self-discovery.
The main idea is that finding oneself is a more unknown path than discovering the meaning of life. Her multifaceted textures depict scenes of frozen reality as a reflection of a person’s inner awareness.
According to Ksenia, the main tools are:
* concentration/directed focus,
* attention (the language of works that reproduce the aesthetics of meditation in the “Sea for Two” collection),
* self-analysis (reflected in the “Lost World” collection),
* cosmism (the grandeur of a person in the “Fish in Space” collection).
Today, Ksenia Eliseeva's works are featured in numerous exhibitions worldwide.
Her paintings are held in private collections in Prague, Cyprus, Sri Lanka, Rome, Georgia, Tatarstan, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, and Russia.
