Evgenia Alexandrovna Bazilevich (1981, Vladivostok) is an artist working in the genre of naive painting and decorative-applied arts.
Her path in art is non-academic and sincere: for many years Evgenia worked as a senior legal advisor, but simultaneously engaged in creativity. The foundation of her artistic language was long-term practice in decorative-applied arts — painting decorative plates, which shaped her love for bright contrasting colors and ornamental elements (circles, dots, stripes).
In 2022, she participated in an exhibition of masters and teachers of decorative-applied arts at the Kostin Children's Art School. Later, she completed a drawing and painting course in the adult group at the same school, and also mastered digital drawing in Procreate.
Upon retiring after years of service, the artist fully devoted herself to creativity. Her works are distinguished by a naive, joyful worldview: in them, cats drink tea with strawberries, geese bloom, and abstractions turn into a cosmos with many worlds.
