Sergey Voronkin was born and raised in the ancient city of Kursk. From childhood, he was passionate about artistic creativity, spending hours writing, drawing nature, and illustrating his favorite books, but he often dreamed of space and distant worlds. He studied at an art school. He has repeatedly participated in regional, personal, and international exhibitions and competitions, and has received numerous awards and publications in art journals. At the age of 20, the artist experienced a tragedy that resulted in "Clinical death"… It was this fact and a series of events not directly related to painting that influenced Sergey Voronkin's subsequent life and work. After rehabilitation, the artist resumed his creative activities, which helped him recover. Through painting, Sergey intuitively sought his path and soon developed as a cosmic artist, while also not forgetting earthly themes. For many years now, Sergey has been passionately creating the cosmic series "Dreams of Consciousness," in which he combines his acquired experience, Eastern philosophy, and faith that our Universe was created for the self-improvement of infinite life. Also, for many years, Sergey Voronkin has been creating a series of nostalgic works called "Dreams from Childhood," which resonates with the Japanese tradition of "Natsukashi," where recalling the brightest episodes from the past does not cause sorrow for what can no longer be returned, but fills one with kind nostalgia and gratitude for what was. The series "Dreams of Consciousness" and "Dreams from Childhood" are components of the artist's worldview, who is convinced that a person should strive to understand the cosmos, uncover the most incredible mysteries of the Universe, but from time to time we all must look back and warmly remember who we are and where our roots lie. Today, the artist has a large number of friends and viewers both in Russia and abroad. Many have learned about the artist through social networks and support his talent and life philosophy. A large number of Sergey Voronkin's works are held in private collections, organizations, and medical centers in Russia, Europe, America, the Middle East, and Asia.
