The painting was painted en plein air in the quiet village of Prislonikha, where time seems to slow down and every dawn is filled with amazing primordiality. In the evening, preparing for the morning sketches, the artist tried to provide everything necessary for the work: carefully selected brushes, mixed paints, prepared an easel and a solution for the palette. His special attention was drawn to the window of a modest village hut. It was through it that the early morning light penetrated into the room, transforming the entire atmosphere.
On the canvas, the viewer sees a simple, but incredibly touching corner of rural life: a wooden table on which there are bottles of sunflower oil, bread, some vegetables, and scattered household items. The open window lets coolness and the fresh aroma of a summer morning into the room, soft light plays on the glass, creating a subtle play of highlights and transparent shadows. Soft golden shades permeate the dark green walls, giving the interior a special, intimate atmosphere of home comfort.
