“Light Fading in the Branches” explores a transitional state where warmth and light slowly dissolve into the material surface. The texture recalls bark or organic wood grain, through which the last traces of golden hour still filter — soft, flickering, almost slipping away.
It carries a familiar, almost physical sensation: the moment when the day is coming to an end, and warm sunlight still glimmers through the canopy. The light is already losing its intensity, yet it lingers in memory — something that cannot be held, only felt.
There is no clear boundary between form and its disappearance: color seems to flow and soften, giving way to stillness and quiet presence. It is a moment of slowing down, where the warmth of the day remains within the layers, gradually turning into memory.
The work reflects a delicate balance between light and matter, between presence and its gentle fading.
