This original work, «Where the dragons live», was created by the contemporary Russian artist Tatyana Grishutina.
Where the dragons live is an imaginative fantasy landscape by the author, based on integrating a mythical creature into a fictional mountain scene with a lake. Mountain slopes covered with sparse vegetation, a steep rocky cliff, stone shores, the azure water of the lake that radiates coolness and tranquility, a waterfall rushing down the cliff, snow-white mountain peaks in the distance merging with clouds of unusual shapes, and a bright blue sky.
Once upon a time, dragons lived in such a world. The dragon, symbolizing mystery, wonder, and primal power, fell into a deep sleep and turned to stone by the mountain lake, but its spirit flies high in the sky in the form of a white cloud. All the active characters of this imagined world are motionless and asleep for the time being, waiting for their creator who will write the story or myth about the enchanted dragon and the magical lake. And although fairy tales live only in our imagination, they exist as long as someone believes in them, and the world becomes richer with them.
