Alexander Samokhvalov’s painting “Deep Lake” transports the viewer to the harsh yet enchanting nature of the Urals, depicting, apparently, the famous lake “Talkov Kamen.” It is a landscape where the monumentality of the rocks meets lush greenery, and the dark water holds secrets.
