This original work, «The Firebird», was created by contemporary Russian artist Vladimir Abaimov.

Vladimir Abaimov's painting «The Firebird» is a vivid example of his abstract art, where energy and the mythological image are embodied through pure color and rich texture. This canvas is a true fireworks display of colors.

The entire composition is permeated with a sense of power and radiance. The dominant colors are intense shades of yellow, gold, and bright green, which seem to emit their own light. These tones, associated with the flames and feathers of the mythical bird, create a swirling motion.

Abaimov works in the impasto technique, applying paint with thick, textured strokes. These strokes do not simply lie on the canvas; they form voluminous ridges and waves that capture and reflect light, enhancing the feeling of fiery brilliance. The marks of the palette knife are visible, giving the surface roughness and dynamism.

Amid the yellow-green heat, flecks of cooler colors appear — blue and violet shadows that add depth to the painting and prevent it from becoming monotonous. On the left side, several small sharp red dots can be seen, resembling drops or sparks, which reinforce the theme of fire.

«The Firebird» is not so much an image as a materialization of pure, primordial energy. It is a pictorial equivalent of the legend of a magical creature caught at the moment of its greatest radiance.
