This original work «Morning Flowers» was created by the contemporary Russian artist Vladimir Abaimov.
Vladimir Abaimov's still life «Morning Flowers» is a bright and delicate composition celebrating the beauty of a summer or early autumn bouquet captured in the first hours of the day.
The focus is on a tall transparent crystal (or faceted glass) vase filled with water, in which the edges of the vessel are clearly visible. The bouquet, composed of different types of flowers, gives the composition a vertical aspiration.
The base of the bouquet consists of tall slender inflorescences of delicate lavender or pale lilac flowers, reminiscent of delphiniums or lupines. They occupy the upper part, creating a sense of airiness. Below, for contrast and volume, are two large dense flowers of a rich velvety red color, possibly dahlias or peonies. Bright green foliage unites the multicolored elements of the bouquet.
On the right, against the same light background, stands a small pot with a houseplant, which adds depth to the composition and hints at a cozy home atmosphere.
The background of the painting is rendered in soft cream and light beige tones, allowing the bouquet's colors to appear especially pure and bright. Abaimov uses brushstrokes that are not overly detailed but precise enough to convey the texture of the petals and the shine of the glass. «Morning Flowers» is a pictorial embodiment of freshness, purity, and serenity at the start of the day.
