What inspired me for the first time was not just the image of a ship, but a specific sailing frigate that still sails the seas today – the ship "Nadezhda". It is a Russian frigate registered in Vladivostok, built in 1991. It is a regular participant in international sailing competitions and festivals.
The sailing ship was named after the legendary sloop «Nadezhda», on board which Russian sailors under the command of I. Kruzenshtern and Y. Lisyansky made the first-ever circumnavigation in the history of the national fleet.
