Believe in yourself despite fate –
You will decode yourself from now on!
Let that old grandfather live in you,
Whom everyone scolds in the world.
That grandfather protected you at the moment
When falsehood was thrown back at you,
When dust was thrown in your eyes,
To make you forget who you are,
And you handed over the ship’s wheel
To someone supposedly stronger than you.
The process in which personality matures
Cannot be left to chance.
One day the inner voice declared:
Your duty is always to remain human.
Since then, I have carried the words of conscience
With me through the years.
The moral of this fable is:
To avoid looking back –
Don’t let yourself be broken!
My grandfather –
My code, morality, and pride.
He taught me to draw conclusions, saying:
Stay away from bullies:
Wrong friends and goals;
Youth is full of mistakes;
No day should be wasted in vain
And no year of life lived aimlessly.
Who says, “It’s boring,” hiding a laugh,
And you, without judging idle choices,
Will gladly share your grandfather with everyone.
After all, youth is not only for pleasures –
You will say with a serious look.
To some you will become a stranger,
To others, in your unbreakable home,
You will serve as the best guide.
