Dangauerovka (also Dangauerovskaya Sloboda) is a neighborhood in Moscow within the Lefortovo area, established as a workers' settlement ("social town") between 1928 and 1932. It is currently being renovated and gradually regaining a look close to the original. Walking through this district, seeing the refreshed facades of the buildings, breathing in the springtime scent of fresh paint familiar from childhood, you are transported through time, into another reality, into the city of the first five-year plans or into scenes from Marlen Khutsiev's film "I Am Twenty." It was here, according to the script, that the film's main character lived. Such emotions inspired me to create this concise composition, with a diagonal rising from left to right, symbolizing the positive spirit of social optimism and the creative enthusiasm of the first five-year plans, expressed in the form of early Soviet modernism.
