Paradox:
in the infinite universe
there is nothing infinite.
Even the most enormous,
tenacious and ancient objects
sooner or later disappear,
like dew on the fields under the rays
of the rising sun.
And here I have
a pencil drawing on a piece of paper,
which will crumble before
infinity even begins,
called "INFINITE JOURNEY"!
Stupidity? Arrogance?
Naive fantasy?
No,
I just once took,
and properly agreed
with Zhenya Baratynsky:
But I, in obscurity, loving life for life,
I, carefree in soul,
will I tremble before fate?
Not eternal for the times, I am eternal for myself:
Does not the thunderstorm of theirs speak something to the imagination alone?
The moment belongs to me,
As I belong to the moment!
What need for past or future tribes?
I do not strum my unvoiced strings for them;
I, inattentive, am sufficiently rewarded
For sounds with sounds, and for dreams with dreams.
True, it is not easy,
having agreed to be eternal for oneself,
to remain so,
when everything around insists
on meaninglessness
and inevitable death.
However,
it is worth it;)
