Saraswati.
The Goddess of creativity.
She is one of the aspects of universal energy that gives us the opportunity to create and appreciate what we have created.
Intending to bring the heavenly at least a little closer to the earthly, of all the attributes due to Her, I allowed myself to depict only two - a musical instrument (in this case, a sitar) and a white swan, a constant companion, a devoted admirer and a "vakhana" - a means of transportation, a symbol of the unmistakable distinction between what is worthy of existence and what would be better erased sooner with an eraser.
As a model for inspiration, I chose the famous daughter of the great sitarist Ravi Shankar, who taught the Beatles how to use their instrument and taught many Europeans how to listen and understand Indian music, the brilliant Anushka Shankar, seen in collaboration with Sting and other famous musicians.
And such a very worthy work in a beautiful frame is offered to you to decorate your home. Or maybe not only for decoration, but also for inspiration and even for blessing - what if the kindest Saraswati wants to make you a tool in her skillful, careful and reliable hands? Brush, pencil, pen, chisel, ballpoint pen, musical instrument, kitchen knife, mason's trowel... or something else - you will discuss this choice with Her yourself.
