A sigh of the sea.
Clouds of fog
took the fast-sleeping city without a fight,
providing with their invasion a reason
for justification for the lit lanterns,
bored with nothing to do at this time.
Sound died.
Time got lost.
Blind, deafened space
got stuck in a boggy silence,
and all movement ceased -
the kingdom of dreams had arrived.
The world is a watercolor,
blurred by the fog,
which for some reason spared you,
a bridge
over the surface of the water
that reflected the fog,
a dim lamp of a distant window,
and the blue of the sky,
where the shy pale moon
hovered high, sublimely,
immeasurably lonely -
a soul saved by a
blurred watercolor.
