They will call it abstraction. Avant-garde. But for me, this work is the crystallization of what cannot be touched: indifference, resentment, joy, contempt, pleasure. Each emotion here is locked into its own object, like in a cage. And yes, these cages are isometric, with perfect angles, but inside them is chaos, which is what makes us alive.
My new painting — “Geometry of Emotions” — is my visual experiment where geometry becomes the language and color — the emotion.
Why isometry? Because it is a system where there are no coincidences. Every line is calculated, every angle predetermined. But within these rules lies complete anarchy of feelings. I wanted to create a sense of tension between the strictness of the mind and the chaos of the heart.
When the work was finished, I suddenly realized that the painting is a kind of trap. For you. For me. It forces you to search for meaning in geometry, even though the meaning is to lose it. Step beyond the frame. Allow yourself not to understand. Just feel how the coldness of the edges blends with the colors. Maybe in a year I will say that it was all wrong. But today — this is the truth. Mine. Our shared illusion.
I chose isometric projection to emphasize that emotions are not a flat spectrum. They are volumetric, multifaceted, yet governed by a hidden order. Even chaos here is mathematically precise.
