This original artwork "History of beauty" was created by the contemporary Russian artist Julia Nazar and is available for sale online.
This work is a study of the popular image of Venus/Aphrodite in art, its development and transformation as an aesthetic masterpiece and standard of female beauty.
By copying famous works, understanding them, admiring them, I came to the creation of my own version of Venus.
In my version, Venus is symbolic, without external attributes of beauty. So I tried to say that True Beauty is inside.
The painting uses fragments (copies) from the paintings:

"Venus of Urbino" by Titian. 1538.
"Venus before a Mirror" by Titian. 1565.
