Hands are a part of the body that actively participates in dialogues.
It is no surprise that there is a language of gestures.
Hands can tell more about a person than the face.
In my paintings, I show relationships through touch. This form of communication requires no translation; it is accessible to everyone.
Touch remains in memory as the strongest flow of energy, and this process happens not only between people. When a person creates, their touch fills their creation with energy.
In my narratives, hands represent help, tenderness, the connection between generations, hatred, helplessness, and loneliness.
Everything a person can experience and feel in this world can be expressed through hands. In them, one can see tragedy and tender childlike innocence,
generosity and greed.
Why hands? Because they are a complex and refined part of the body, a separate language, often unconscious.
Links A gentle touch between a couple, the outstretched hands of an elderly person, a candle of ideas, hopes, or memories in hands, rejection and tension, a gesture of stopping — and all this in the "Links" series is a special form of communication, understandable in any language, any faith, any mentality — a unique language. Hands are the links in the chain of human connections.
