This original artwork "Thoughts about your demon" was created by the contemporary Russian artist Ksenia Eliseeva and is available for sale online.
"Thoughts about your demon" is a psychological drama unfolding on canvas. A fragment of a figure in muted golden-olive and deep burgundy-violet tones unfolds before the viewer, as if expressing the effort of internal resistance or pain. At first glance, the composition seems abstract, but gradually the viewer discerns the curve of the human body, the vaguely outlined features of the head, as if dissolved in the dark background. Above the head is a slight hint of a fantastic crown or wreath: perhaps this is a hint of the burden of thoughts or a heavy crown of suffering. The main character of the canvas has no bright contours, he almost dissolves in the surrounding space. This creates associations with the struggle of the mind and the dark sides of the personality: the "demon" is not an external enemy, but something inseparable from a person, fused with his essence. Triangular and multifaceted strokes of oil paint convey a feeling of fragmentation, emotional tension, some kind of internal tectonics. The color scheme — a mixture of earthy tones with cold violets — indicates the ambiguity of what is happening, the dynamics of psychological struggle (humility or an attempt to escape from one's own shadow, to come to terms with one's demon).
This work can easily be associated with anyone who has encountered personal experiences, fears, the shadow of memories or dissatisfaction. The artist invites the viewer not only to observe, but also to think: what is your personal demon and how are thoughts about it reflected in your pose, look, and movement of the soul? Should you find a dialogue or a fight with this part of yourself? Everyone finds their own answer, looking at the canvas.
This painting can be hung on the wall of your apartment, house, office, restaurant, or hotel and will be a wonderful decoration for your interior. You can buy online the artwork "Thoughts about your demon" measuring 174 x 49 cm with secure shipping to your location!
