This original artwork "Emperor's bridge." was created by the contemporary Russian artist Nikolay Lukashuk and is available for sale online.

"Emperor's bridge." is a monumental and romantic ode to the river and man. From above, a powerful structure is shown crossing the overflowing Volga. On the left, by the pier, there are buildings with red roofs; on the right, there is a railway bridge stretching into the distance, disappearing into the bluish haze of the horizon. The entire space is covered with broad, shimmering brushstrokes: the water surface shimmers with steel, blue and yellow shades, emphasizing the solemnity and simultaneous severity of the river. In the distance, you can discern the silhouettes of boats, a train crawls along the bridge, smoke flows around - a symbol of movement, long routes, historical intersections of destinies. The work is painted dynamically, energetically, with a sense of admiration for the engineering power and rhythm of the eternal Volga. The artist combines nature, man and technology in one composition, demonstrating how harmoniously they can all coexist, be part of the history and modernity of their native land.

This is a bridge across the Volga River that leads to the city of Ulyanovsk. The bridge is named "Emperor's Bridge" because it was built in 1913 - 1916 to honour the historical event - 300th year rule of Romanov dynasty of Russian empire. The Volga here is wide, that is why the bridge looks tiny and fragile though you can see the train crossing the river. Pink strip is appearing due to the sunset. It creates special atmosphere.
