A dynamic river landscape unfolds before the viewer: two large ships are moored at the shore, their hulls are still covered with traces of snow or frost, but the ice on the river is already beginning to melt, giving way to free water. The artist masterfully conveys the play of light on the ice floes and water - soft blue and silver highlights convey the freshness and transparency of a spring morning.
