This original artwork "The Church." was created by the contemporary Russian artist Nikolay Lukashuk and is available for sale online.

The Kuibyshev street of Samara City is one of most beautiful streets in Samara where Samara Lutheran Church of St. George is located and the street is visited by many tourists. Samara Lutheran Church of St. George  , built in 1865, was originally conceived as a Catholic church, but was handed over to the Lutheran community. It became a spiritual center for local Germans, with a school and kindergarten. The architecture combines classical and Gothic. After the fire of 1875, the building was restored and expanded. In 1930, the church was closed, and during the Soviet period it was used as a warehouse. It was returned to the faithfuls in 1991, and the first divine service was held after a 60-year hiatus. Today it is a functioning church and a cultural center with organ concerts. In 2003, the church received an organ from Stuttgart. The church is an important monument of history, culture and architecture, reflecting the multinational nature of Samara. The artwork with its impressionist style reflects the beauty and remarkable sights of historical Samara and rainy streets and rainfall weather creates its own unique atmosphere.
