This original artwork “Venus robot” was created by the contemporary Russian artist Ivan Korshunov  and is available for sale online.

Ivan Korshunov’s painting “Venus Robot” is a surreal portrait in which the artist explores the theme of artificial intelligence, ideals of beauty, and the place of man in a technological world. The composition, which at first glance seems simple and funny, is filled with hidden symbolism and makes you think about the future in which technologies increasingly penetrate our lives, including personal relationships and ideas about beauty.

At the center of attention of the painting is the figure of a robot stylized as a female figure. The artist deliberately gives the robot the features of the classic Venus, the goddess of beauty and love, thereby creating an ironic contrast between the artificial and the natural, between technology and human feelings. The robot, assembled from various metal parts and painted in bright colors, seems both attractive and a little frightening.

The robot’s face, executed in a cubist style, expresses a lack of emotions and individuality. His eyes, presented in the form of light bulbs or sensors, seem to scan the surrounding world without experiencing any feelings. The robot, as if devoid of a soul, is only a machine programmed to perform certain functions.

The robot’s clothing, resembling a skirt with hearts, adds an element of irony and grotesqueness to the composition. The skirt, like a symbol of femininity and beauty, contrasts with the angular and rigid forms of the robot, emphasizing its artificial nature.

A special feature of the image is the mechanical key sticking out of the robot’s back. This key seems to indicate that the robot does not have free will and is completely subordinate to external control. Its movements, programmed and mechanical, are devoid of spontaneity and naturalness.
The background of the painting is executed in golden tones, imitating a metal surface or gilding. This background creates a feeling of wealth, luxury, and artificiality, emphasizing the technol
