“Enjoyment of Beauty” is a painting that invites the viewer to pay attention to the fleeting beauty of the simple things that surround us.

At the center of the composition is an antique silver dish covered with patina, reminiscent of a fragment of a tarnished mirror. Ripe fruit lies on its surface.

An angel in the background gazes indifferently at the withering fruit, embodying a silent reminder that there is something eternal in this world, impervious to the relentless passage of time. His image is a replica of the frescoes from the Villa dei Misteri in Pompeii, a city whose life was cut short in an instant, leaving only fragments of art for future generations.

Associations with images of gods, who are not subject to the destructive power of time, formed the basis of the color scheme: a bright red background, resembling a volcanic eruption, symbolizes a passion for life, while cold blue and silver shades, like ashes, evoke thoughts of the transience of all things.

The message embedded in the painting shines through the paint: “It is priceless to be able to enjoy the beauty of simple things”. The life we are accustomed to can be cut short in an instant.

The painting “Enjoyment of Beauty” becomes a visual metaphor for conscious existence: it offers not just to decorate a space, but to capture a moment of beauty. Just as the ashes of Vesuvius preserved Pompeii for eternity, we can capture the fragile harmony of a fleeting moment in our memory and learn to savor its perfection here and now.

INVESTMENT ATTRACTIVENESS

The painting “Enjoyment of Beauty” proves its investment viability through its serial conceptuality, international and national exhibition presence, concrete market results, and confirmed interest from print media, expressed in a number of publications.

As part of the series “In the Footsteps of Lost Civilizations,” it was presented in 2025 at the multimedia exhibition “Dialogue across Continents” and at the “Talent of Russia” competition (Moscow). In the same year, together with other works from the series, the painting participated in the artist's solo exhibition in Padua (Italy).

A key indicator of demand is the 28% price increase for two reproductions (giclée, limited edition of 10 copies) sold at the ArtSreda auction in the summer-autumn period of 2025. This trend indicates the growing market value of the artist's works, ensuring the investment attractiveness of the original painting.

A landmark event confirming the high status of the painting “Enjoyment of Beauty” was its placement on the cover of the specialized publication “Art and Life,” volume 24 (2025).

This fact not only confirms the artistic value of the work, but also significantly enhances its visual recognition. A reproduction of the painting was also published as an illustration for the article “Elena Kosova (Leonella Vok): The Path to Art” in the book “Dialogues on Art” (2025), as well as in the article: “Elena Kosova: From ROSATOM to Painting,” published on the Dzen digital content platform (2025).
