"Spring microcosm" is my watercolor attempt to peer into the secret depths of awakening nature. The painting is done in an abstract style, where the watercolor—like a living organism—guides the direction itself, spreading, merging, creating unpredictable shapes and textures. It is a kind of visual poem about the chaos that in nature always turns out to be surprisingly harmonious.
In this work, I tried to convey a microscopic perception of spring—the very mysterious and rich life hidden beneath our feet: mosses, spores, the finest twigs, fresh leaves, tiny buds, and insect wings. Things we usually don’t notice, but that come alive after winter and fill the space with light, breath, and heartbeat.
Watercolor here is the perfect ally. It lives its own life, just like spring itself: elusive, trembling, full of movement and transparency. Thanks to this technique, I was able to find a fragile balance between natural disorder and the hidden beauty it contains.
For me, "Spring microcosm" is a reminder of a miracle. That even in the smallest patch of earth, in a drop of dew, in shaded moss, a whole universe lives. And if you just look closely, you discover the boundless magnificence of life.
