Rose - the queen of flowers. It is a flawless, exemplary flower, a symbol of the heart, the center of the universe, the cosmic wheel, as well as divine, romantic, and passionate love. In Greco-Roman tradition, the rose represents triumphant love, joy, beauty, and desire. In Ancient Rome, garlands of roses were also a symbol of virginity. In Ancient Greece, the rose was the emblem of the goddess of love Aphrodite (Roman Venus), as well as the emblem of the Sun (Helios) and dawn (Aurora). It was considered one of the attributes of the ancient Greek god Dionysus, the goddess Hecate, and the Muses.
