Svetlana Kurmaz is an internationally recognized professional artist with a distinctive aesthetic style in both figurative and abstract art.
She was born and raised in Krasnodar.
In 1985, she graduated with honors from Kuban State University, Faculty of Fine and Technical Graphics.
From 1985 to 1992, she worked as a teacher of drawing, composition, and easel graphics at the Department of Graphics of Kuban State University.
From 1992 to 2002, she lived and worked in Moscow.
From 2002 to 2022, she lived and worked in Prague (Czech Republic).
Since 2022, she has been living and working in Moscow.
Member of the Moscow Union of Artists since 1996.
